- The Laboratory of Biocybernetics and Computer Aided Teaching is part of the Institute of Pathophysiology of the First Faculty of Medicine, Charles University in Prague.
- The laboratory carries out, in cooperation with the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics and Czech Technical University, basic research in the field of formalization of description of physiological systems and their computer simulation models.
- Interactive components for graphical user interfaces of simulation models are being developed in cooperation with the School of Arts of V. Hollar.
- Laboratory gives lectures to students of Biomedical engineering at the Czech Technical University and offers post-graduate training in Biomedical informatics.
